8:52 pm - LOOK LOOK LOOK
Hey, hey, look at me! I finally got noticed by a BNF despite my best efforts to alienate everyone worth knowing with my 'winning' personality! Cower in fear now that I finally have the recognition that I deserve! Hey, I'm important now! Really!

8:39 pm - [REVIEW] "Chance Meeting" by Anjismoro
Crap like this makes my blood boil. Which makes me wonder what temperature blood boils at, and if anyone's ever tried to find out. Anyway.

Please stop sharing your wet dreams with us, kthx. )

5:11 pm - [REVIEW] "The Official Fanfiction University of X" by Teena
The author of this seems to be operating under the belief that she's being humorous.

She's not. )

3:30 pm - [REVIEW] "Only a Dream" by Rain splatter
I don't plan on reviewing many Mary Sue fics, but the idea of an X MS is so ludicrous that I read the story out of sheer sick curiousity. Then I saw Chapter Three and, in the midst of my laughter, decided to share the horror.

Aren't I nice? )

2:02 pm - A Declaration of Defamation
Before I issue my declaration, I'd like to mention a few things. First, detractors, wanna clue me in where I said or even implied that Xandra and Krystal Rose should never ever write again? I think I missed that bit. Also, where is the wank for [info]one_eyed? They dared review a Xandra fic as well.

But anyway. *dons "BNF Hunter" hat*

Leareth, how dare you write excellent X fanfiction. How dare you go as far as to let the characters tell their own stories, rather than forcing them into roles! Oh, how dare you write original characters so interesting ("In My Line of Work") that I didn't mind S/S not taking center stage. How dare you make me delighted that there was an "In My Line of Work II"! Don't even get me started on how much "Eternal Colours" cut my heart and how "Angelic Intervention" had me grinning from ear to ear.

RackhamRose, how dare YOU reduce me to tears with "Two Truths and a Lie," and then still have me LIKE it afterwards. How dare you take the time and effort to make Yuuto/Subaru seem a plausible pairing, rather than just throwing them into bed. How dare you play with original concepts like Subaru as a violinist. Just how dare you.

Kouri Arashi, I don't much care for your X fics, but how dare you write good Fushigi Yuugi fanfics. It's been forever since I was interested in FY, but I just spent the last forty-five minutes re-reading "With or Without You." How dare you portray Suboshi as something other than a heartless murderer.

Natalie Baan, well, you're just the ultimate evil. "Sakura and the Snow" and all.

There. I feel so much better about my own woefully inadequate fanfiction now.

10:30 pm - [REVIEW] "Romance as the Adolescent Rose" by Yuzuriha
Well, if you're looking for another snarky review, not tonight. Heh, guess I must not be horribly jealous of [info]grayhour and bent on taking her down a notch. Though I'm not quite sure how that works, as I DO envy her descriptive ability. I can't get at ALL flowery without my writing sounding stilted and forced.

But this author can. )

5:03 pm - Wank wank wank!
I've already made it to Fandom_Wank. Then there's the support.

I hate to deprive F_W of amusement, but I think I'll have to fail utterly to bitch and moan about an author disagreeing with my review. That's what the "post a comment" link is there for.

[info]grayhour, I don't think your review will be done tonight, as my allergies are acting up and I'm having difficulty concentrating. Wednesday it is.

9:57 pm - [REVIEW] "Angel's Mission" by Xandra and Krystal Rose
I wanted to like this fic, I really did. The premise was cute, a kind of retelling of Wish with an S/S twist. I stuck it out for four chapters, waiting for it to get better.

Then I gave up. )

Seems to be in working condition to me. Time to begin the reviewing.
